Wake up and smell the roses, honey! You’ve made it through the winter. The warmer weather is here and you deserve a refreshing cocktail.
My favorite thing to drink is tequila. It’s my go-to when I’m going out and even when I’m relaxing at home. There’s just something about the smoothness of a good tequila drink that just makes me happy. Another thing that I love about tequila is that you can mix with with so many different and delicious ingredients to create your perfect cocktail.
I love mixing floral ingredients when I’m making drinks and one of my favorite go-to’s is roses. So what happens when you mix tequila and roses? The most delicious rose water margarita. Check out my delicious recipe below!
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 1 oz. blanco tequila
- 1 oz. lime juice
- 1 oz. grapefruit juice
- 6-8 dashes of rose water
Combine all of your ingredients into a shaker, shake, strain over ice in a rocks glass, and top with 2 oz. Champagne. Garnish with a lime wheel or rosebuds.
