We’re feeling stronger than yesterday thanks to this Britney Spears news. The pop star announced Thursday that she’s finally releasing “Mood Ring” tonight, a bonus track originally featured on her 2016 album Glory that until now was only released in Japan.
Although it wasn’t featured on the original US and European version of the album, the song, which was produced by DJ Mustard, quickly became a fan favorite with many fan-made music videos being created online.
The “Lucky” singer has been rolling out the surprises for her fans lately. To celebrate the album climbing back to the top of the iTunes charts a few weeks ago, Britney switched up the cover art for Glory. “You asked for a new Glory cover and since it went to number one we had to make it happen!” she shared on Instagram earlier this month. “Couldn’t have done it without you all!”
The new album cover, shot by David LaChapelle features Britney striking a sexy pose in a metallic gold bathing suit in the desert with silver chains around her.
“Mood Ring” hits streaming platforms at midnight.
