The Pussycat Dolls are making a comeback but it looks like some of the members want more time in the spotlight.
The ladies are planning a reunion tour that will reportedly include the original members 10 years after announcing their hiatus. However, according to a new report from The Sun suggests the other ladies don’t want Nicole Scherzinger to be the main focus of the group like she did in the past.
“Before they took a break in 2009, Nicole had become the lead singer of the group. It felt natural at the time but now they’re starting planning the tour, some of the girls have demanded Nicole take a back seat,” an insider tells the site. “
If you were a big Pussycat Dolls fans like I was In the old days, you probably remember Nicole being the lead singer in the group which kind of pushed the other members, Melody Thornton, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta into the background, especially on their second album, Doll Domination. So for the reunion, the women want it to be more of a level playing field.” They want doll domination. Equal doll domination.
“They don’t want anyone to feel sidelined, as it’s supposed to be a celebration of the group as a whole. Nicole has been totally laid back about the entire thing and wants all the girls to shine in their own right.”
Meanwhile, Nicole is probably like “lolol k, ladies.”
