The Spice Girls aren’t the only ladies getting back together! According to a new report from The Sun, Beyoncé wants to revive Destiny’s Child and it looks like Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams are both on board (obviously).
According to The Sun, “Beyonce has been desperate to get the girls back together with her in the studio and she can’t think of a better time than 2020, when they will be marking two decades as one of the world’s biggest all-female groups.” They add: “Beyonce has been meeting with Kelly and Michelle and discussing what they can do. It’s early days but they want to record new music and put it out alongside some of their biggest hits.”
The source went on to say, “Then they want to do a tour which will be short enough for them to fit it into their schedules, but big enough to make sure all their fans can make a date to see them.”
The iconic trio will reportedly be releasing new music and tour together in the US and Europe. We’re taking this with a grain of salt because we’ve been let down by numerous reunion rumors over the years but this one might be the real deal. As with everything that Queen Bey does, this timing actually makes sense. It marks the 20th anniversary of Michelle joining the group, and 15 years since their last studio album, 2004’s Destiny Fulfilled.
Take all my money, ladies!
